Wear A Mask And Still Look Chic

FASHION WEEK MADRID SPRING-SUMMER FOR MEN 2018

Yesterday we closed another week of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid, and this time with important news (at least in relation to men's fashion). For the first time, we had a catwalk fashion show in Madrid dedicated exclusively and exclusively to us (thank you Garcia Madrid), and designers like Custo Barcelona, Montesinos or Palomo España have produced almost the same ratio for men and women. next spring-summer. However, there is still a long way to go because 36 of the 43 designers who participated in this release ignored us again.

As you can see, there were 7 creators who created collections for us, and, frankly, very well. That's all.

ROBERTO VERINO, THE MOST CLASSIC COLLECTION

Roberto Verino chose the Palacio de Cibeles to present his Je t'arme collection with creations for the upcoming fall-winter 2017-2018, unlike the rest of the designers who showed us their designs for the next spring-summer 2018 in this edition of Madrid Fashion Week. ...

The Galician designer dresses us up inspired by the myth of classic Paris and shows us his classic outfits, slightly updated with a color palette spiced with shades of blue, white and red as a tribute to the French flag.

This collection is perfect for the man who loves the classics, but in a slightly more modern tone.

MONTEZINOS, THE MOST RISK ASSEMBLY

We need to thank Montesinos for being one of the few designers who think about us men (and do it with style). The Montesinos man is free and without complexes, so his proposals are always risky, very colorful and free-thinking. In other words, great.

For the next summer, the Valencian designer will choose linens, skinny pants, colorful suits, wide shirts, maxi coats ... which in the Montesinos universe are presented in very bright finishes such as metallic texture in gold and prints with exotic birds, etc. tropical plants. And, to emphasize, the inclusion of technological fabrics with bamboo ducks.

ION FIZ, THE MOST ETHNIC COLLECTION

I believe that the Basque designer presented his most ethnic, diverse and colorful collection this time at MBFWM and this time based on his technical and perfectionist models. The result is Dahia, a 100% sustainable collection filled with life and many vengeful nuances.

Printed fabrics stand out with motifs of flowers, stripes, birds, as well as ethnic and exotic details inspired by the city of Melilla awarded with this collection. For its part, the dominant pattern is classic and linear. As for color, there is a lot of chromatic richness with dusty or very bright tones such as fuchsia; dye some jacquard and damask fabrics obtained with linen and silk thread.
